What Happened To Me Because I Was Replying On Someone Else
Several years ago I set up a website in a popular niche targeting certain keywords that I found. I wrote custom quality articles to use on the site and put pay per click advertising on the web site, so that
if anyone should click on the advertisement, I would get paid a small fee.
Over the years the website was bringing in constant traffic and I was getting paid a regular amount each month from the advertisements. I was happy with the website and the traffic it was receiving... but I never
thought that it would basically drop off the map!
About a year ago something happened with the site's search engine rankings and it plummeted down the ranks to where virtually no one would find it. Over night it went from a steady stream of traffic to almost nothing,
which also meant that my advertising revenue diminished considerably. The site has since increased in traffic along with the adverting revenue, but not to the level at which it once was.
This is my real example about how important it is to build and create your own income that you have total control over, without relying on someone else to pay you. I started to get comfortable
with my website without realizing that at any moment it all could end for good.
